Objective

To provide in-depth knowledge of the Unani system of medicine (an ancient Greek–Arab system of healing), blending traditional concepts with modern medical science.
This course trains students to diagnose, prevent, and treat illnesses using Unani therapies, herbal medicines, dietary regulations, and minor surgical procedures.

Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) from a recognized board
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB subjects (varies by institute)
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) qualification mandatory

Admission Process

Entrance Exam Based: NEET-UG (mandatory for all medical admissions in India)
Counseling Process: State/Central AYUSH Counseling for seat allotment in BUMS colleges
Direct Admission: Rare, usually through NEET-qualified merit list in private colleges
